Invoicing If you click link in the Project/Job column, you will be taken to a more detailed breakdown of the work. The invoicing section collates time into jobs and projects, and compares it to the estimated time. The date of the last time any part of a project was invoiced is also displayed. On the summary page, you can see at a glance the time to be invoiced (in Red). Clicking on the project takes you to a summary of the time spent on individual jobs, and clicking on a job takes you to the page that details all the time allocated to that job. When you red the detail page you can mark an entry as 'invoiced', 'dead' (or un-invoicable), or 'to be invoiced later'. There is a simple calculator on the page that will add all the time you've marked as "invoiced" in that session, and multiplies by the rate specified. Marking an entry as "Dead" will remove it from the calculator – marking an entry as 'dead' without first marking it as "invoiced" confuses the calculator. Hopefully this will be an early bug fix. Once an entry is marked as dead and the record invoice button is clicked, it doesn't show up in this section again. To review all work done on a job or project, whether invoiced or not, use the reports system The calculator is really just for a guide – so always check your figures. |
